Casa Serena Eating Disorders Program
Program Costs
The average length of stay in the basic program is 10  weeks.  Most clients benefit from
12-14weeks.  During the initial intake evaluation our goal is to develop an individualized treatment
plan for each client.

The
fee for the program includes: a weekly individual therapy session and dietary consultation, all
dinner meals
(including restaurant outings), and 8 group therapy sessions each week, including
Multi-Family group.  This is over
17 hours of contact each week.

Our daily rate is
$350 a day, or $14000 for the complete 10 week program. There is a significant
discount for those who are paying out pocket for their treatment program.  The
private pay daily rate
is $250 a day
or $10000 for the complete 10 week program.   Additional individual, couple or family
therapy sessions are billed separately, as are additional dietary and exercise consultations as well
as our in-home nutritional visits.

All clients will have an
intake evaluation which includes: 90 minutes with the Program Director or
Intake therapist, an hour with the dietitian and 30 minutes with our business manager to  discuss
the financial contract and payment schedule.  The fee for the Intake Evaluation is $300.  This amount
is included in the program fee, when the client enters the program otherwise it is billed to the client.

All treatment is payable by
personal check, money order or credit card.  Some insurance
companies cover our program, yet it is
important for all clients to understand that they responsible
for all charges for the program.

The insurance companies we have worked with include:  MHN, Value Options, Aetna, Health Net,
Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Anthem Blue Cross, Cigna Behavioral Health, United Behavioral Health.

We have also been able to establish single payor agreements with other insurance companies.  We
will do whatever we can to help the client to get insurance  reimbursement by providing a super bill
to their insurance company from the program.  We advise all clients to research their coverage prior
to admission.
